Start with the wedding’s formality, venue, season and colors. Our specialists help select the jacket, trousers, shirt, vest, tie, pocket square, shoes and accessories. The groom can stand apart with a different jacket, lapel, vest, tie or other detail.

Professional groomsmen measurements

Local party members are measured at Foresto’s Mineola showroom. Out-of-town groomsmen can submit measurements through our online measurement form after being measured by a professional tailor or formalwear shop.

Final fittings and adjustments

At pickup, each person tries on the complete outfit. Our team reviews the jacket, sleeves, shirt, waist and trouser length so necessary adjustments can be addressed before the wedding.

Formalwear for fathers and ring bearers

Foresto can also coordinate attire for fathers, grandfathers and ring bearers. Their outfits may match the wedding party or use complementary details that identify their role.

Planning timeline

Begin with the groom’s consultation as early as possible. Foresto generally recommends planning approximately six months before the wedding and fitting local groomsmen at least two months before the event. Contact us when working with a shorter timeline.
