Tuxedo Sales Specialist
Foresto Tuxedo is seeking a friendly, dependable Sales Specialist for our Mineola showroom. This position is available on either a part-time or full-time basis.
Our specialists help customers choose tuxedos, suits and accessories for weddings, proms and other important occasions. Formalwear experience is preferred, but training will be provided to the right candidate.
Compensation: $17–$35 per hour, based on relevant experience and qualifications.
Location: Foresto Tuxedo, 309 Willis Avenue, Mineola, NY 11501.
Available workdays: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Saturday and weekend availability is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide attentive, professional service.
- Help customers select appropriate tuxedo, suit and accessory styles.
- Learn and explain formalwear styles, sizing, colors and rental options.
- Assist with customer measurements, fittings and order preparation.
- Handle multiple customers while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communicate professionally in person and by telephone.
- Maintain an organized and welcoming showroom.
- Participate in occasional off-site bridal showcases and promotional events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Retail sales, menswear, formalwear or customer-service experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Dependable attendance and good time-management habits.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
- Careful attention to measurements, order details and deadlines.
- Ability to work Saturdays and other scheduled shifts.
- Ability to reliably commute to our Mineola showroom, preferably within approximately 25 minutes.
